Choose Life, Receive Blessings

“Anyone that has chosen life has chosen Him”

Suppose you have just recently given your life to Christ and you don’t really understand much about the promises of God as written in the Scriptures. You may ask questions such as “can I, a new Christian and very young in my walk with Christ be cursed?” — The Bible says in Deuteronomy 30:19 “This day I call the heaven and the earth as a witness against you that I haveset before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”
The understanding here is that neither heaven nor earth can compromise against you. So, no matter what anyone (including witches, wizards, occult, etc) invoke against you via living or non-living objects, it amounts to nothing.

Chronicles 16:22. “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my Prophet no harm” — God said that anyone that has chosen life has chosen Him, and such person is considered blessed. Some wicked people have ways of inducing their spirits into animals, trees or other living objects thus causing Havoc in the lives of mortal men. This havoc does not and can never apply to those who have been washed in the Blood of The Lamb and remain steadfast in God; it is impossible! Let them come to you in any number or form, Psalm 34:7 says, “The angels of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.” (see Isaiah 54:14-15).

Whenever the devil comes to you in any form, way or manner, you must be mindful of the fact that you live in the awe of God.

He has given you many years in the land, He has promised and sworn to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
As the choice of death gives birth to curses, so also the choice of life gives birth to blessings. It is interesting that God did not say to His children, choose one of this but He emphatically said “CHOOSE LIFE”, for I am your life. It is therefore impossible to find curses in someone that has chosen life. What about curses pronounced in Deuteronomy 28:15-68 meant for? Curses therefore, as written in Deut. 28:15-68 is not for Christians but upon their enemy as in (Deut. 30:7). Consider this verse and you will find out that the choice of God for you is blessings and all the curses are for your enemy.
in conclusion, a child of God cannot practice or be involved in what the enemy practices (1Peter 2:1-2, Gal 5:19-21) but must exhibit the fruit of the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22-26).

Prayer: Almighty Father help me to stay focused on your way while living in your love daily, under your hedge of protection. Surround me with your fire Lord Jesus and protect me by the power of your name. Let Your divine blessings abound in my life daily in Jesus name.

WHEN WILL YOU REPENT?

At the very last moment the thief that was beside Jesus cried out to Him in repentance. He humbled himself and acknowledged his guilt in sheer contrast to Jesus’ innocence. He pleaded to be part of Jesus’ Kingdom and was granted a spot in paradise with Jesus!

Luke 23:42-43; Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” It just shows you that it is never too late to repent. The bible says that all who come to Jesus, he will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).

God says in 2 Chronicles that “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

I receive for you from God’s throne of grace a repentant heart in the mighty name of Jesus.

The prayer this thief prayed beside Jesus made him to make heaven! Brethren, contrary to the lie of the devil, it is NEVER too late to repent. The road to hell fire is very wide while the road to eternal life is straight and narrow. We all need the special grace of God to stay on the straight and narrow.

You may currently be as sheep going astray; NOW is the time to return to the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul (1 Peter 2:25). Now is the time to return to your first love. I hope and pray that like Paul, you will press on toward the mark of a high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14).

Prayer: Lord anything that stands in the way of my salvation, take it out of my life. Make my path clear and my eyes seeing and looking to Your glorious inheritance.
