“Every bad and ungodly attitudes would only detour anyone from yielding good fruits.”

Such attitudes as anger, adultery, covetousness, evil desires needs to be rid of. You must ensure that your mind is continually cleansed and renewed by the Word – Matthew 1:18-20. You must dedicate yourself wholly to God and He must always have His way in your life, home, family and your will. By allowing this a new man will be born of you and you will have the power to overcome the flesh and every onslaught of the devil. If a man insist in his own ways he will be utterly destroyed, this is affirmed in Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man,but it ends in the way of death”.

“You must be of understanding that not every fruit is delightful to God, therefore, your aim must always be to produce fruits that are delightful to Him.”

God is the source of our righteousness through His strength in us. In Isaiah 40:28 encourages us to trust in the Lord so that we do not grow weary but soar like the eagle. God just wants us to continually do that which is right before him and thus possess the land. Deuteronomy 6:18-19 “Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so that it may go well with you and you may in and take over the good land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors, thrusting out all your enemies before you, as the Lord said.”

Prayer: Lord create in me a clean and pure heart and renew a right spirit within me. Purge me of every uncleanness that reside in my heart so that I can flourish in Jesus name.

Go Back To The Secret Place

“Everything in your life will try to keep you away from from ‘The Secret Place’ – when that happens you will begin to fall in other areas and you ask yourself ‘Why is it such a battle'”

The secret place is where you meet with God to get instruction..correction…cleansing..loving and being built up for the future. Your secret place can be anywhere but it has to be somewhere, it can be set to anytime but it has to be sometime that is set. It has to be the most important appointment in your day.

Jesus is our example. He often rose before the day breaks to pray knowing what awaits Him. He makes deposits in the early mornings to be able to make withdrawals later in the day. Children of God without deposits made in “the secret place”, what would you have to draw on? You’ll work harder and harder and less to show for it, because you are operating in your own strength. But after you’ve prayed you will struggle less and accomplish more because you are operating in HIS strength.

“He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed” Isaiah 50:4

Do not get too involved in the work of the Lord that you neglect the Lord of the work. That is probably why Paul prayed, “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him ….” Philippians 3:10

Nothing can be born without intimacy. Everything you really want to become is in God’s presence. Have you been there today?

Prayer: Father, if there is any area in my life that have been blind to knowing the essence of Your Presence take it away from me Lord. Open my heart to knowing Your will for me on daily basis.

About My Father’s Business

Luke 2:49 “Why were you searching for me? He asked. Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Friends, there’s an account in the book of Luke about when Jesus and his parents went to Jerusalem for a feast. The bible says that at a point Joseph and Mary couldn’t find Jesus but finally found him in the temple. When they tried to scold him he told them to their astonishment that he was about his Father’s business.

As joint heirs with Christ, there is need for us to be kingdom-minded. The bible tells us to set our affections on heavenly things. Matthew 6:19-20 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor vermin will destroy, and where thieves do not break through in and steal”

It is the things we do in God’s kingdom that REALLY matters. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all other things will be added unto you” Soul-winning is the heartbeat of God. Jesus said “feed my sheep”.

On this glorious day that the Lord has made, ask yourselves the following question today:
AM I A BUSY-BODY IN OTHER PEOPLE’S MATTER OR AM I ABOUT MY FATHER’S BUSINESS?
God knows exactly where the shoe pinches. As you take care of God’s business, he’ll take care of yours!

I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that God will perfect ALL that concerns you. Be blessed in Jesus’ mighty name!

WHEN WILL YOU REPENT?

At the very last moment the thief that was beside Jesus cried out to Him in repentance. He humbled himself and acknowledged his guilt in sheer contrast to Jesus’ innocence. He pleaded to be part of Jesus’ Kingdom and was granted a spot in paradise with Jesus!

Luke 23:42-43; Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” It just shows you that it is never too late to repent. The bible says that all who come to Jesus, he will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).

God says in 2 Chronicles that “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

I receive for you from God’s throne of grace a repentant heart in the mighty name of Jesus.

The prayer this thief prayed beside Jesus made him to make heaven! Brethren, contrary to the lie of the devil, it is NEVER too late to repent. The road to hell fire is very wide while the road to eternal life is straight and narrow. We all need the special grace of God to stay on the straight and narrow.

You may currently be as sheep going astray; NOW is the time to return to the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul (1 Peter 2:25). Now is the time to return to your first love. I hope and pray that like Paul, you will press on toward the mark of a high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14).

Prayer: Lord anything that stands in the way of my salvation, take it out of my life. Make my path clear and my eyes seeing and looking to Your glorious inheritance.

Be Filled With the Spirit

“Be Filled With the Spirit and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;” (Ephesian 5:18)

The Holy Spirit helps our infirmities:

Romans 8:26 – “Likewise the Spirit also help our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself make intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.”

The Holy Spirit Guides us into ALL truth:

John 16:13 – “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”

The Holy Spirit comforts:

John 14:16 – “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.”

The Holy spirit teaches:

John 14:26 – “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

The fruit of the Spirit:
Galatians 5:22 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.”

The Holy Spirit empowers you to witness:

Acts 1:8 – “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

The Holy Spirit makes you an overcomer:

1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

New wine must be put in new bottles:

Matthew 9:17 – “Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine run out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” (Also see Mark 2:22; Luke 5:37-38).

Prayer: I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that there will be an emptying of the old wine in you and that God will fill you with new wine (Holy Spirit). The Lord God will sanctify you holy and make you vessels of honour meet for His use in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
