Allow God To Restore You

“I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid”

After Adam sinned he hid from God — when God said to him; ‘where are you?’ he replied, ‘I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid…’ (Genesis 3:9-10 NKJV). How can you know when something is wrong for you…? — when it causes you to hide from God! When it makes you avoid prayer, bible reading and fellowship with God’s people.

The Bible condemns sins such as stealing and lusting, but what about other things that are not so clearly spelled out in Scripture?

‘To fall is bad enough, but to fall and not cry out for help is worse…Some people are so full of pride and self-sufficiency they think, ‘If I can’t get up myself, I won’t let anyone help me!’ — stop being so proud. that’s what caused you to fall in the first place! The Bible says: ‘Those who walk in pride [God] is able to put down’ (Daniel 4:37 NKJV). Pride is dangerous, it forces you to lie needlessly in a helpless state for days—and sometimes years. If you’d asked for help immediately, you could have gotten up and gone on with your life.’

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is…death

You can hurt so much that you stop trusting everybody, including God. You stop praying and reading the Bible, you avoid those who want to help, and you refuse to let anybody pray for you. The Bible says, ‘Do not harden your hearts’ (Hebrews 3:15 NKJV). Today, acknowledge that you’ve fallen and let God restore you.

Prayer: Father remove pride far away from me and let restoration be thorough in every area of my life where I have been inadequate. Restore Your honor and splendor and understanding in my life in Jesus’ name.

Set Free To Serve – Part 3

Your heart must be devoid of anything contrary to righteousness – a sure way by which it can be united with the heart of God. One thing that causes a man not to flourish is unforgiveness, which results from offences. You must therefore train your heart not to dwell on offences but to focus on Jesus, so that you can flourish in your spirit, soul and body.

Matthew 18:7 says, “For offences must come, but woe to that man by whom the offence comes!”

Offences will always be, and will always happen. Looking at your physical body as an example, the teeth can offend the tongue as a result of bite (a kind of offence), and this can happen from time to time. The tongue, as a result of the teeth’s offence, cannot decide to stop feeding the body because the tongue itself needs the teeth for help in carrying out its function of swallowing.
This demonstrates the importance of forgiveness (the tongue has to continually forgive the teeth) and unity to be able to forge ahead and accomplish their tasks.
So it must be with you, as a Christian and your fellow brethren. You must relate to one another with righteous and open heart.

If one flourishes, it must positively affect the other.

The Bible clearly states that one shall chase a thousand and two shall chase ten thousand. (See Deut 32:30; Josh 23:10) Remember, when God blesses you it is not just for your own sake but for His kingdom’s – you are part of the blessing because you are part of His kingdom. His blessing upon you is to enhance His work on earth and to change the perspective of His church, beginning from your domain (local church).

Isaiah 40:18,25-31 say, “With whom, then, will you compare God? To what image will you liken Him?” “To whom will you compare Me? Or who is My equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? … … … Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Prayer: O God, arise and fight my battle, arise and fight the cause of my life. Contend with those that contend with my destiny. Contend with every elemental evil spirit, every satanic association set up to hinder me from fulfilling my destiny or being myself on a daily basis. Arise O Lord, and fight my battle.

WHEN WILL YOU REPENT?

At the very last moment the thief that was beside Jesus cried out to Him in repentance. He humbled himself and acknowledged his guilt in sheer contrast to Jesus’ innocence. He pleaded to be part of Jesus’ Kingdom and was granted a spot in paradise with Jesus!

Luke 23:42-43; Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” It just shows you that it is never too late to repent. The bible says that all who come to Jesus, he will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).

God says in 2 Chronicles that “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

I receive for you from God’s throne of grace a repentant heart in the mighty name of Jesus.

The prayer this thief prayed beside Jesus made him to make heaven! Brethren, contrary to the lie of the devil, it is NEVER too late to repent. The road to hell fire is very wide while the road to eternal life is straight and narrow. We all need the special grace of God to stay on the straight and narrow.

You may currently be as sheep going astray; NOW is the time to return to the Shepherd and Bishop of your soul (1 Peter 2:25). Now is the time to return to your first love. I hope and pray that like Paul, you will press on toward the mark of a high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14).

Prayer: Lord anything that stands in the way of my salvation, take it out of my life. Make my path clear and my eyes seeing and looking to Your glorious inheritance.

Speak life over your situation all the time!

“The Law of the spirit of life does not work automatically. It must be activated.”

What are your first words when you face any form of affliction? Your first words in the face of affliction are extremely important and decisive of what happens next. The words you speak license spiritual laws to go into operation for or against you expressly. They either allow sin and death to take over or they activate the Spirit of Christ Jesus.

The moment those words come out of your mouth, one of the above laws is set in motion. Unless you do something to stop it, it will continue to function, growing stronger and stronger until it accomplishes a pre-designed outcome or result.

Thank God, as born-again believers, we’re in Him and as Romans 8:2 says “…because through Christ Jesus the law of Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death” Since life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21) – speak life over your situation all the time!

Prayer: Father, as a believer, direct me by Your Spirit to the place You have prepared for me. Open my eyes Lord to see the way that is right before You and guide the words that come out of my mouth in Jesus name.

Flee from sin!

The essence of paying attention and fastidiously running from sin is because you do not know which one will lead unto DEATH. Beloved , FLEE from the devastating, destructive and shaming effects of sin.

“He chose to be mistreated along with people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin” Hebrews 11:25

Lord purify my heart from every form of lust. Enable me to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace.
